Bill Ellis

 
 

Bill Ellis has been researching aspects of the ecology and physiology of Queensland's koalas from his base at The University of Queensland for over fifteen years. For the last three years Bill has been supported by The San Diego Zoo where he has been a consultant postdoctoral researcher. Bill graduated with a B. Sc. (Hons) from the Australian National University in Canberra and also holds a Masters in Environmental Law from that institution. He gained his Ph. D. in Zoology at The University of Queensland, researching stress and immune responses in the koala.

Bill is an Adjunct Fellow at the Centre For Environmental Management at Central Queensland University in Rockhampton, an associate in the Centre for Mined Land Research at The University of Queensland and a member of the Integrative Ecology Team at the University of Queensland.
